HALL Arts Hotel & Residences, Dallas, Texas

The much anticipated new $250 million development for the Dallas Arts District is now under construction with completion set for autumn 2019. The 25 storey HALL Arts Hotel and Residences is planning to include 44 luxury homes with floorplans from 1,600 square feet to a 10,000 square foot penthouse. A boutique hotel will feature 183 rooms on eight floors.

Craig Hall, Chairman and founder of Hall Group told D Magazine:

“We’re very excited because we think it will bring more vibrancy, more people on the street. Having a 183-room hotel should bring 250-300 people every day … going to restaurants and walking around.”

It is estimated that at least there million visitors per year visit the renowned art district which is the largest urban arts district in the United States.

Hall further states:

“It’s a very important distinguishing factor for our city and we need to embrace it and celebrate it and help it continue to prosper.”

Most floors will have only one or perhaps two homes on each. Purchase prices for the homes range from $2 million to an average of $4 million.

The interiors are being designed by Emily Summers of Emily Summers Design Associates. Features fitted by the developer include Bulthaup kitchens, state-of-the- art Miele appliances, Dornbracht polished-chrome fittings and custom wood flooring. Residents will be able to customise their residences with oak, limestone, marble and quartzite finishes. Floor to ceiling windows will provide excellent views of the Dallas Arts District and city skyline.

Going Green

One of the most important construction features is the green certification known as LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, it is considered one of the best environmentally sensitive building designs.

The residential floors will also feature the raised floor Moor System to promote energy efficiency and comfort year around. The design creates an 18” open space between the Moor and the structural slab which helps with sound and air flow for ventilation systems.

Additional amenities are to include private dining areas and wine cellar for private storage of resident’s favourite brands.

Private car parking and an on-site concierge team will be available as well as a park for pets with all the necessary needs for them available.

Outside the residential area the district is home to performing arts venues, upscale restaurants, museums and parks.
